To add switches into the fabric for private cloud management, administrators can use the following two methods:
* PowerOn Auto Provisioning (POAP): This method allows the switches to be automatically discovered and provisioned by DCNM using a POAP configuration file. The switches are assigned an IP address and a startup configuration based on the fabric settings and policies. The switches are then added to the fabric and deployed with the VXLAN EVPN configuration. This method is suitable for greenfield deployments or adding new switches to an existing fabric12.
* Seed IP: This method allows the administrators to manually specify the IP address of the switches that they want to add to the fabric. The switches must have a reachable IP address and a username and password that match the fabric settings. The switches are then added to the fabric and deployed with the VXLAN EVPN configuration. This method is suitable for brownfield deployments or transitioning existing switches to DCNM management12. Each of the ASAs interfaces need to be grouped into one or more bridge groups. Each of these groups acts as an independent transparent firewall. It is not possible for one bridge group to communicate with another bridge group without assistance from an external router.
As of 8.4(1) upto 8 bridge groups are supported with 2-4 interface in each group. Prior to this only one bridge group was supported and only 2 interfaces.
Up to 4 interfaces are permitted per bridge-group (inside, outside, DMZ1, DMZ2)

The product that allows Cisco FMC to push security intelligence observable to its sensors from other products is Threat Intelligence Director (TID). TID is a feature of Cisco FMC that enables you to integrate third-party threat intelligence feeds into your security policies. TID collects, aggregates, and correlates observables from multiple sources, such as Cisco Talos Intelligence, Cisco Umbrella, and other external providers. TID then pushes the observables to the sensors that are managed by FMC, such as Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) devices, Firepower appliances, and Cisco Secure Firewall Cloud Native. The sensors can then use the observables to block or monitor traffic based on the reputation and threat level of the IP addresses, URLs, and domains12.
