HPE GreenLake for Containers is a cloud service that delivers a fully managed Kubernetes platform for containerized applications. It provides a consistent and secure environment across the edge, data center, and cloud, with integrated data protection, security, and compliance. HPE GreenLake for Containers also offers flexible consumption and pay-per-use models, as well as self-service provisioning and management tools.
HPE Alletra 6000 is a cloud-native data infrastructure that delivers a cloud experience for business-critical workloads. It is designed to provide fast and consistent performance, high availability, and efficiency in a 2U enclosure. HPE Alletra 6000 supports NVMe and SCM drives, up to 4M IOPS, and sub-millisecond latency. HPE Alletra 6000 also offers data services, such as snapshots, replication, encryption, and deduplication, as well as native integration with cloud platforms.
HPE GreenLake for Containers with HPE Alletra 6000 is a solution that combines the benefits of both offerings, enabling customers to run their containerized applications with high performance, reliability, and scalability, while enjoying a cloud-like experience and consumption model. This solution is ideal for customers who need to modernize their applications, accelerate their time to market, and optimize their costs.

The HPE storage platform that should be included to complete the VDI solution is HPE Alletra 6000. This is because HPE Alletra 6000 is a high-performance, low-latency, and scalable storage array that can support the demanding workloads of VDI environments. HPE Alletra 6000 offers the following benefits for VDI solutions:
It delivers consistent sub-millisecond response times for thousands of concurrent users and virtual machines, ensuring a smooth and responsive user experience12.
It provides flexible connectivity options, including iSCSI and FC, that can integrate with HPE Synergy compute modules and HPE Virtual Connect technology13.
It supports VMware vVols, which simplifies storage management and provisioning, enables granular data protection and quality of service, and optimizes storage utilization for VDI deployments14.
It leverages HPE InfoSight, an AI-powered platform that provides predictive analytics, proactive recommendations, and automated actions to prevent issues, optimize performance, and reduce costs for VDI environments15.
The other options are not suitable for the VDI solution because:
B). HPE StoreEasy is a file and application storage solution that is designed for small and medium businesses, branch offices, and workgroups. It is not optimized for high-performance, low-latency, and scalable VDI workloads6.
C). HPE Qumulo is a file data platform that is designed for unstructured data, such as media and entertainment, life sciences, and research. It is not optimized for high-performance, low-latency, and scalable VDI workloads7.
D). HPE SimpliVity is a hyperconverged infrastructure solution that combines compute, storage, and networking in a single appliance. It is not compatible with HPE Synergy compute modules, which are blade servers that require a separate storage array8 .
