Explanation
A CNAME (Canonical Name) record is a type of DNS (Domain Name System) record that maps an alias name to a canonical or true domain name. For example, a CNAME record can map blog.example.com to example.com, which means that blog.example.com is an alias of example.com. A CNAME record is useful when you want to point multiple subdomains to the same IP address, or when you want to change the IP address of a domain without affecting the subdomains1.

The printer's IP address and subnet place it in a different network segment than the workstation.
The workstation and router are on the 10.0.0.0/26 network, while the printer is on the 10.1.0.0/25 network. Changing the printer's IP address to match the workstation's subnet or modifying the workstation's subnet to match the printer's network can resolve the issue.

Spanning tree is a protocol that prevents network loops by dynamically disabling or enabling switch ports based on the network topology. Network loops can cause intermittent connectivity issues, such as broadcast storms, MAC address table instability, and multiple frame transmission. By enabling spanning tree, the network administrator can ensure that there is only one active path between any two network devices at any given time.
